Largest Wedding Summit To Happen Dubai

Bidding was done in order to determine the country that will host next year’s Destination Wedding Planners Congress or DWP Congress. Dubai joined in the bid and was able to win the prestigious honour. The 2019 edition is expected to be the largest yearly event of gathering from different countries to showcase the destination wedding industry. The nation is already preparing for the big players in the industry to come including Sydney wedding planner as this event is one of the most awaited every year.

It was a stiff competition as there were many countries that participated in the bidding but emirate when over them all thus the right to be the host country for the 6th yearly congress was given to Dubai. The congress is considered to be a premier event wherein businesses come together to network with one another. The international wedding industry is currently valued at $300 billion. For 2019’s congress, the event will be held at the Atlantis, The Palm hotel.

The conference will last for three days and over 500 delegates are expected to come from 70 different countries. The congress will start on the 27th of March 2019 until the 29th.

According to Dubai Corporations for Tourism and Commerce Marketing’s CEO, IssamKazim, Dubai is already on top of the list when it comes to destination weddings. He added that if they were to host a big event such as Destination Wedding Planners Congress then they will be given the chance to get to know more of the said industry along with the entire city of Dubai.

Furthermore, the event will put Dubai at the front row of the development in the destination wedding industry. It will make it possible for the stakeholders of the city to be a part of the discussions regarding major issues that are impacting and influencing the industry’s future.

Many are already excited including Sydney wedding planner because Dubai is known to be Middle East’s wedding capital. Now, it has won the right to be the host of the biggest gathering to celebrate the destination wedding industry and its professional all over the world.
